What to include in a technical inquiry
A useful quotation request describes the spring's function, space, and service conditions.
Geometry and load
State spring type, available dimensions, and installation constraints. For compression or extension, provide at least two force and length or travel points; for torsion, torque or force with arm and angle. Attach a drawing, sketch, or sample if available.
Use and acceptance
Add material requirements or environment, temperatures, corrosion, load type, cycles or target life, functional tolerances, quantity, and requested timing. Clarify inspection and assembly-packaging needs; feasibility requires technical review.
