Vibratory response depends on the spring together with system mass, installation, and damping.
Resonance
Response can grow when excitation approaches a natural frequency of the assembly. Relevant frequency and amplitude depend on effective mass, installed stiffness, supports, joints, and damping; spring rate alone does not determine them.
Dynamic evaluation
State mass, frequency range, amplitudes, impacts, installation, and expected cycles. The current calculator does not calculate natural frequencies, resonance, transmitted vibration, or fatigue life.
