ETAR / OUR HISTORY

Capability is built over time.

Each stage involved decisions about investment, learning and training. These milestones show how our approach to manufacturing evolved.

  1. 1970 / 1986

    ETAR’s beginnings.

ETAR’s history began in 1970. In 1986, the company was incorporated as an SRL.

  2. Plant and organization.

Construction of the plant began, alongside the development of a management system and a computer network.

  3. Learning internationally.

The partners travelled to Japan and Taiwan to study production methods, CNC forming technologies and inspection systems.

  4. 1991–1993

    Test, train and extend.

New CNC equipment and working methods were tested in a model production area. Training and further investment supported their introduction across the company.

  5. From 1994

    Quality and regional growth.

Management system certifications became part of the company’s objectives as its commercial activity expanded into Mercosur.

02 / IN DETAIL

Which function contributes to each decision.

The commercial inquiry brings together requirements and terms. Engineering reviews how to manufacture; Production contributes preparation and execution; Quality connects requirements, checks and documents. Responsibilities and open items are coordinated so technical decisions can be reflected in the proposal and manufacturing.

  • Engineering: feasibility and process

  • Production: preparation and manufacturing

  • Quality: inspection and documentation

  • Sales: proposal and supply

03 / IN DETAIL

Knowledge shared across the team.

New equipment was introduced alongside training. Learning across people and functions is part of ETAR’s history.

ETAR / CONNECTED MANAGEMENT

Useful information behind decisions.

Requirements, revisions, people and operating information need context to be useful. ETAR uses these management resources to support work across functions. Their contribution depends on the process and specific use; people remain responsible for interpreting, verifying and approving technical decisions.

  1. Organize materials and resources

    How it is supported

    TOTVS ERP

Brings together material, product and resource references to support industrial operations management.

  2. Understand operations

    How it is supported

    TPM Pro

Provides production and equipment performance information to analyze what happened and guide improvement actions.

  3. Connect people

    How it is supported

    Humand

Supports internal communication and people management across industrial teams.

  4. Follow requirements and revisions

    How it is supported

    KAIQEN

Connects stages, risks, controls and documentation to provide context for project requirements and open items.

  5. Find and organize information

    How it is supported

    Artificial intelligence

Assists with queries, analysis and document organization, including support for Quality. Responsible staff review results before using them.

  6. Relate data to the process

    How it is supported

    M2M connectivity

Adds machine data to monitoring on equipment where it is installed. Interpretation and scope depend on the equipment and process.
